Thermal waste incineration puts materials that can't be recycled to good use. We all generate large amounts of waste - as much as 500 kg each a year in industrialised countries. Grate Combustion
Unbeatable fuel flexibility from a respected leader in thermal waste disposal using incineration on grates - the most popular EfW method. Our rugged construction enables both solid recovered fuel (SRF) and refuse derived fuel (RDF) waste to be burned without treatment. The highest performance and reliability are assured through precision-calibrated center flow combustion chamber and steam generator components, and installations tailored to your heating value, water and ash content, and pre-processing needs.

Reciprocating Grate
Adjustable grate bar velocities create a stronger stoking action for added power and efficiency. The choice of air cooled or water cooled grate bars depends on the waste fuel's heating value. Water cooled grate bars offer durable, high thermal load bearing capacity of up to 1MW/m2 - ideal for incineration of high calorific waste such as solid recovered fuel (SRF). For added flexibility, air cooled can easily be exchanged for water cooled grate bars if you experience a long term increase in heating values, requiring more intense cooling.

Roller Gate
Delivering flexibility, durability and efficiency; Constant air cooling of rollers ensures even high calorific waste burns effectively, while our roller grate systems boast superior bar lifetimes and simple operating requirements.

Ash Handling Systems
Optimum operational safety is assured with our precision-engineered grate bottom ash removal systems, including;

Steam Generator Technology
Our generators and combustion systems form a seamless unit to optimise your energy recovery and reduce emissions. Choose from the latest horizontal-pass and vertical-pass EfW boilers to suit your needs. Horizontal-pass EfW boilers are larger units , cleaned using a pneumatic knocking mechanism, with the flexibility to easily fit auxiliary devices below the horizontal flue. Our vertical-pass boilers feature rigorous and robust cleaning using steam soot blowers.
