How and When to Apply

You can apply online to join the next Advanced Apprenticeship Scheme from November – March.

The Interview Process

If your application is successful, we’ll invite you to an initial interview between March and May.

Where Will Interviews Take Place?

We will contact you to arrange an interview to suit you. This might be at a Doosan Babcock location close to your home or by telephone.

Attending an Assessment Day

If your initial interview is successful, we will invite you and your parents or guardians to attend an assessment day at our Tipton training centre.

The assessment day allows you to:

We provide lunch and appropriate protective clothing and equipment, and will also contribute to any travel expenses incurred.

Being Notified of a Place

Between July and September, we’ll let you know by letter if you have secured an offer or reserve place.

Taking Your Place

Your life as an advanced apprentice will begin in August and September.
