|
Our success is built on the quality of our people, our reputation for technological expertise and best-in-class execution, and the collaborative relationships we establish with our customers. We believe that this approach delivers value for our clients and creates exciting opportunities for our people.
We are committed to investing in the training and development of skills, knowledge and competence of our 6,000 employees to ensure consistent performance and delivery of quality products and services.
As part of this commitment our award winning graduate training programme can offer you the opportunity to embark on a career in an organisation with an outstanding reputation for delivering excellent customer service and world leading, innovative technology solutions.
Our Graduate Training Programme fundamentally aims to support business growth and succession through the development of those within our early pipeline talent pool. As a Graduate Trainee you will be part of this pool! Whether it be that you have the potential to become future leaders or technical experts, you will be developed and deployed both technically and professionally to support the effective execution of our business strategy today and for tomorrow.
As part of our commitment to graduate development we have established an industry recognised graduate training programme. In doing so, our graduate development scheme focuses on the following four key principles below to assist you on your journey:
Accelerating the application of academic skills
We will help you build your knowledge and understanding of our processes and technology, during which you will also develop a network of contacts during placements around the business.
Acceleration of knowledge about our business
We will help you build your knowledge and understanding of our processes and technology, during which you will also develop a network of contacts during placements around the business.
Acceleration of behavioural competency development
This includes developing your customer and market focus, cross-team integration and networking skills.
Attaining professional chartered status
This is achieved in a focused and systematic way that delivers value for the business as well as yourself.
We are interested in recruiting graduates who are proactive and ambitious with a professional attitude. Working as a graduate trainee with Doosan Babcock you will be expected to deliver solutions and contribute to the teams you work in; so you must be able to demonstrate integrity, self motivation, initiative and excellent communication skills. Our minimum entrance requirement for our Graduate roles is a 2:2 honours degree qualification in the relevant discipline.
Your application will be reviewed to ensure that it meets the minimum criteria. Successful applicants will be invited to a one-day assessment centre and will take part in activities such as psychometric testing, individual presentation, competency-based interview and a group exercise. The outcome of the assessment centre will determine which candidates will be offered a position on our graduate training programme.
