Doosan Lentjes supplied a complete boiler system consisting of two incineration lines applying a proven reciprocating grate that is capable of processing about 220,000 tonnes of household waste per year while producing electrical power and district heat; significantly contributing to reducing the negative climate impact of greenhouse gas emission from landfills.
Commenting on the project, Gerhard Lohe, Director of the Waste-to-Energy product line at Doosan Lentjes, said: “This current waste-to-energy project marks an important milestone in both the establishment of an all-encompassing waste management infrastructure in Poland and the governmental aspiration to ensure a sustainable thermal treatment of all municipal solid waste.
